Jan is a relationship builder who utilizes her many connections and attention to detail to consummate the perfect deal. With more than 25 years of experience working as a teacher, executive recruiter, recruiting manager and sales manager, Jan thrives working side-by-side with families, business owners, investors and non-profit organizations. In 2002 she founded Richards Properties, Inc. bringing unparalleled insight into Charlotte’s neighborhoods, schools and real estate trends. Jan’s connections reach deep and include associations with city, state and local officials.
Fiercely dedicated to providing exceptional service, Jan is a Strategic Pricing Specialist (SPS®), Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource (SFR®), a member of the National Association of Realtors (NAR®) and the Charlotte Region Commercial Board of Realtors (CRCBR). She is deeply involved in the Charlotte community having served two terms on the Charlotte Mecklenburg School Board. She serves as a board member of the Charlotte South Rotary and a member of Women of Vision.
A native of Boston, Jan has called Charlotte home for more years than she can remember. She frequently visits her family home in Cape Cod and travels to Boston and Newport Beach to visit her daughters and family. When Jan is not helping her clients she enjoys cooking, golf, politics and travel. Jan earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Denver and her master’s degree from University of North Carolina Charlotte.

Sue Boynton joined Richards Properties in 2012 after working with the Allen Tate Company for six years where she quickly became the “go to” realtor for difficult to sell properties. Sue's passion for excellence, heart for service and keen ability to get things done no matter what the challenge have made her a trusted advisor for her clients and throughout her professional career.
With professional designations of Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR®), Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource (SFR®), Certified Distressed Property Expert (CDPE®), Residential Finance Consultant (RFC) and Certified Residential Military Specialist, Sue possesses a broad knowledge of all facets of real estate. She is a member of the National Association of Realtors (NAR®) and Pinehurst Southern Pines Area Association of Realtors licensed in both North and South Carolina.
Sue is extremely active in the Charlotte community. She serves as Chairman of the Capital Campaign Committee for Assistance League of Charlotte, is a sustaining member of the Junior League of Charlotte and serves on the Advisory Committee for “Melanoma Awareness” for the Carolinas HealthCare Foundation. She is a member of Carmel Country Club. Sue grew up in Charlotte with seven brothers and sisters. Sue and her husband Mark have two children who also live in Charlotte. She loves playing bridge, golf and spending time with her family.

A native of Charlotte and mother of two young children, Christie juggles career and professional endeavors with grace. Her broad family ties in the Charlotte community make her a standout choice to help young families and working professionals make the best choices in buying and selling homes.
Christie served as an educator for the American Heart Association for ten years before becoming a second-generation Realtor. She is a graduate of Presbyterian College and taught elementary school in the Charlotte Mecklenburg School System for five years. She is a member of the National Association of Realtors (NAR®). Her knowledge of the education system, heart for service and warm approach to doing business will make working with Christie to buy or sell your home a pleasurable experience.
